Why Remote Work is actually Pretty Great
You realize that remote work is actually pretty good for productivity. It also opens up a wider palette of employment opportunities as relocation is not an issue anymore.
In fact, a lot of companies have found that their workers were actually more productive when working remotely. Projects got done ahead of schedule. Employees took on extra work and are more engaged.
Leading many leaders to wonder… do we really need to come into the office? And at the very least, must we have all those meetings?
The companies I work with have conveyed the very same sentiments to me. I anticipate the future of recruiting to involve a lot of matching up candidates with companies based on work-from-home preferences.
Keep in mind, the remote worker must be able to manage being at home and maintaining some semblance of separation between the two competing worlds.
This is certainly a trend that will continue well into the future.
I work on a national level and have enjoyed much success from this fresh perspective and newfound awareness.
